Behind the Scenes Weld-up + BONUS Bison Visit
Griffon & Crazyhorse are coming to life @ the foundry.
It’s been great spending so much time out West this past winter and into the spring. I returned to NYC yesterday after a fun week in Colorado supervising the weld-up of these four new bronzes. (Both Griffon & Crazyhorse series will be limited editions of 5 each.) When I told the excellent young fabricator that my most important accomplishment this week was securing a pair of tickets to see Primus (in July), he reacted with an exuberant “me too!”. There’s hope for Gen Z yet!!
During this visit I also had a meeting in Wyoming, the highlight of which was an opportunity to spend time with these magnificent beasts (at a nearby ranch) afterwards.
I will to return to Colorado in a several weeks with my longtime patina artist (Karl Reichley/CA), to apply patinas on #1-2/5 Griffon, & #1-2/5 Crazyhorse. Call or email for info on availability & pricing.
