New BRONZE Sculpture

Introducing: Fugue, bronze #2/5 (36h x 12w x 7in).

Sculpted by Dave Stevenson in New York.

Molded & cast in bronze @ BronzeWorks in Santa Cruz, CA.

Patina with Karl Reichley (Berkeley, CA).

Scrolling through the Originals gallery on this website you’ll encounter a lot of blazing-bright colors. As much I love opaque finishes—especially reds and yellows—the surface and molecular characteristics unique to bronze make it my preferred medium. Ideal for articulating compound curves and dagger-sharp edges, this radiant alloy has a near limitless capacity to inspire alluring, translucent patinas. Any solid color can be replicated; no two patinas are alike!
